Research and training are other areas that CESON has been working on. In 2015, CESON got an
opportunity to conduct evaluation research on quality education for Save the Children. The
study was led by Prof. Sushan Acharya and carried out in Morang, Saptari, Sunsari and Udaypur
districts of Nepal.
CESON also worked on a survey for the United Nations Regional Center for Peace and
Disarmament (UNRCPD). The survey was coordinated by Dr. Bishal Kumar Bhandari and
carried out in Lalitpur, Rasuwa, Banke, Doti, and Sunsari districts in Nepal. Likewise, CESON
worked with the Institute for Research, Advocacy and Development (IRADA), a professional
organization active in innovative research, proactive policy strategies, and vigorous capacity-
building initiatives, in 2015. The training delivered to the staff of Jhpiego, an affiliate of Johns
Hopkins University, was an important job, too.
